In a nutshell: We left for a week long vacation and came back to an apartment covered in plaster dust and plaster. It was so bad that we couldn't even live in it and ended up staying in a temporary apartment for over a week. We just got back into our apartment Monday night. Super fun.

On the bright side, we did get out of this place for a week. Sure, I was sick the whole time and worked the whole time (yeah, I'm so good at relaxing) but I still managed to walk on the beach at least once a day (minus that day with the fever). It was just me, Cor and my mom most of the week so I had the best nurses possible.
I read three ish books. I spent way too much time in bed thanks to being sick. I would have much rather spent my time outside getting new freckles. I barely had to cook. In fact, the day of the fever I was so pitiful that my mom cut my dinner up for me, just like the good old days.
Isn't she the best? It was weird to be taken care of by my mom again. She lives an hour away from us so I haven't had this treatment since pre-college years probably.
I picked up tons of shells, broken and whole, shiny and dull. No idea what I'm going to do with them all. What's a creative way to use shells?
|Day One - the one day I wasn't sick|
Thanks to vacation & the apartment situation, we hadn't slept in our own bed in over two weeks. It feels weird to be back home after so long but nice to get back into our routine.
What did I miss while I was gone?
