My first BFF is still one of my BFFs! V & I have been friends since second grade. We've been through it ALL together... We went to elementary, middle, high school together. We went to college together and were each other's first roommates. Somehow we survived it all and are still BFFs to this day!

For real, Hootie and the Blowfish came to my school when I was in fourth/fifth (one of those years) grade! We won some kind of contest, maybe fundraising or selling something. The prize was a special concert! I had NO idea who Hootie and the Blowfish were but I remember it being a huge deal and parents were trying to sneak in.

I remember when "Titanic" came out...I was eleven. At my elementary school, you were cool if you somehow got into the theater to see it (it was rated PG-13 I think).
I was in 4th grade when Titanic came out, and I also went to see it, with a friends mom! I mean, we were 10, so it's not like we could go on our own! But ohhh Leo. Such a cutie :)

Hootie came to my college before they were any big name and my mom was trying to get me to go to the school events instead of going off on my own with friends. I very distinctly recall telling her, "I'm not going to see any band by the name HOOTIE and the BLOWFISH." Hee hee. I love Darius' music today, too!
